Washington politics sometimes has the feeling of a staged drama. Events have certain inevitable predictability associated with them. President Trump’s election could possibly be considered the one big event that threw the script out of the window in favor of the will of the people.But with the Democrats back in power in the House, we are now back to familiar theatrics again. In the final years of the Obama Presidency, the American voters gave a historic mandate to the GOP. And the party fulfilled its mandate to the people by curbing the worst liberal-radical tendencies of the President and his cabinet.
